The ASICS GEL-3030 is a premium shoe combining performance and stability. This shoe has GEL in the fore and rear foot for optimal shock absorption. Continuing on the success of its predecessor, the GEL-3020, this version now employs the Forefoot Guidance Line that encourages a better running style and reduces energy wastage. Research carried out on gender differences in running has led to specific technologies being included in the GEL-3030. 3mm of height has been added to the heel of the women’s version to relieve Achilles tension and a pocket of air in the sole allows for the normal periodic changes in the arch of the foot. Asymmetric lacing gives greater comfort and better fit, the sockliner has been upgraded to the X40 ComforDry version for a healthier shoe environment and the upper has been made with a high tech eco-friendly material.

AHAR+

ASICS High Abrasion Resistance Rubber (AHAR) is a tough compund used at the heavy contact area of the outsole, for example the heel. It helps to reduce excessive wear.

Solyte

Solyte is a proprietary cushioning material that provides an exceptionally lightweight midsole with excellent bounce-back and durability.

Guidance Line

Guidance Line places a visible groove in the mid and outsole that follows the foot's center of pressure from heel to toe. The result is a more adaptive running platform, creating a smoother transition from heel strike to toe-off with each stride. Automatic Guidance Line thus helps runners to maintain a natural, efficient gait, especially over long distances.

Biomorphic Fit

Biomorphic Fit technology allows the upper of the shoe to move in harmony with the foot, giving more comfort while in motion. This fit means the shoe material does not bunch, reducing the risk of blisters or irritation.

Space Trusstic System

The Space Trusstic System creates a pocket of space between the hard Trusstic device and the layer of midsole under the foot arch. The pocket allows the ligaments of the foot to extend and flex downward during propulsion. The result is greater comfort and a more efficient foot function during running.
